Far, far away, beyond all sorts of countries, seas, and rivers,
whilst her Mum's hair fell out / the vase broke / the washing machine ceased to work / her brother got a pea lodged in his throat / the money ran dry / the sun rose / Grandma wet the bed / the electricity ran out / her closest friend had an abortion / enemies fell in love / the police arrested a minor for a minor misdemeanor / the cashier at Maxima in Mustamäe received her first Christmas bonus / the water ran dry / a theatre was closed / rum was drunk at the torchlight procession / food was collected for children / a woman formed a government / a demonstration was held in Toompea / a war was won / classified information was leaked / rioters became looters / people could no longer look each other in the eyes on the streets of Philadelphia / the forest burned down / equal rights activists won a battle / people sunbathed in Bali / all the pain was sent to a single crow –
the beauty was looking for her place in the garden. And if death had not taken her, she seeks it still.
Anumai Raska's solo performance, "Garden of Parasite", hath been inspired by a compulsion and the need to take a concrete stance on alarming phenomena. 'Tis a production that endeth in a way that doth allow the audience to live happily ever after. The beginning of the show is beautiful, too.
