What is this... well, this... you know. This... Yes, that. The very same. It is so evident. It’s so perceptible, palpable... How to talk about it, how to say it? In what letters to write it? It.
Solo does not exist.
The creators of the work have come together under the shared belief that solo does not exist. The paradox of solo is that it requires a context, the existence of the Other. If we apply this idea to ourselves, we can examine how it influences our existence in a society where individualism and self-centeredness are worn-out but still relevant concepts.
On stage, both dependence and independence of the past and present are explored. There are two performers, with an age difference of 26 years. These years encompass many changing dreams, opportunities, successes, and failures. For a moment, they are brought together in dialogue—the only way to truly grow as a human being. The work emphasizes the importance of responding to impulses and information from both the audience and the co-performer, interpreting this interaction as a process of personality development, in this case, compressed into a brief period.
